Hi, I just received my compressor and after installing all the parts I tried to test it, but it imediately started leaking from the hole to the left of the vent knob. I tighttened the knob as much as I could, but it still leaks.

I installed the vent knob like the instructions said, there was no mention of any oring going there, Should there be one in the hole? If there is, then which one is it?

Thanks

The vent knob needs to be unscrewd to the left all the way against the stop screw to fill. Screw in to the right to bleed or vent the line after filling.

I had the same problem. I am used to valves where the bleed screw is screwed in to pressurize and unscrewed to bleed off pressure. For some reason I did not read the air feed hookup and missed which way to turn the valve knob. Thanks for posting the question.

If all else fails-read the owners manual!
