Tom, I just got my compressor this past week end. I lubed it up and hooked up 100 psi and let it rip. I am filling a 88 cf 3000 psi scuba tank. I started at 2600 psi and was looking to top it off to 3000 psi. I periodically checked the gauge and ran it for an hour before disconnecting at what looked like about 3000 psi. Hooked my scuba gauges up 2900 psi. (used scuba gauge because it is larger and appears more accurate than my fill gauges. Anyhow is that about a normal amount of time for pumping into such a large tank? I have a 4500 psi smaller tank on order but would like to top off the scuba tank now and then. how long can this run without shutting off (I see 10 1/2 hours above not sure that was straight thru?

Hi Slayer
my time of 10 1/2 hrs is straight through stopped to grease every two hrs. this was a empty 44 cf. , 4500 psi bottle it charges about 400 psi per hr. which is about like everyone else has been getting
